About the role
The Compliance Officer monitors adherence to regulatory and internal policies within financial operations. The role identifies risks, provides guidance, and ensures compliance with legal requirements. This position protects the organization from regulatory breaches and reputational risk.
Responsibilities and competencies
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor operations for adherence to regulations
- Conduct audits and compliance reviews
- Report compliance issues to management
- Provide guidance and training to teams
- Regulatory awareness

- Analytical thinking
- Communication and training skills
Requirements
- Minimum of 2:1 in Law, Finance, or related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in compliance within financial services
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in lending
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
