About the role
The Asset & Liability Manager is responsible for managing liquidity, funding structures, and balance sheet risks. The role ensures lending and financial operations remain sustainable and within risk limits.
This position supports strategic financial planning by aligning asset growth with funding capacity and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities and competencies
- Monitor liquidity and funding positions
- Analyse interest rate and maturity mismatches
- Prepare ALM reports and forecasts
- Support funding strategy decisions
- Maintain ALM policies and limits
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Liquidity and funding risk management
- Forecasting and planning
- Attention to detail
Requirements
- Minimum of 2:1 in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related social science field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ALM, treasury, or financial risk management
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Knowledge of balance sheets and lending structures
