About the role
The Machine Learning Engineer develops predictive models and algorithms to support credit scoring, fraud detection, and risk analysis. The role works with structured data to enable data-driven decision-making.
This position allows organizations to automate processes and enhance risk management as operations scale.
Responsibilities and competencies
- Build and deploy machine learning models
- Preprocess and manage financial datasets
- Monitor model performance and accuracy
- Collaborate with risk and product teams for model requirements
- Improve data pipelines and feature engineering
- Applied machine learning and data analysis
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Model evaluation and validation
- Cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
- Minimum of 2:1 in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building ML models in production environments
- Proficiency in Python, R, or relevant ML frameworks
- Knowledge of financial data and credit risk analytics
