Addis Credit & Saving Institution S.C. (ADCSI) is one of Ethiopia's largest microfinance institutions (MFIs). Established in 1997 by the Addis Ababa City Administration, ADCSI was created to improve financial inclusion by providing affordable credit and savings services to low-income households, micro and small enterprises (MSEs), women entrepreneurs, youth, and informal businesses. The institution is licensed and supervised by the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) and operates an extensive branch network across Addis Ababa. According to African Development Bank data, ADCSI serves approximately 200,000 customers through 138 branches with a loan portfolio of about €52 million.
