About Metropol

Metropol Credit Reference Bureau (Metropol CRB) is one of the licensed credit bureaus in Kenya, established in 2010 and regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya. It provides credit information, risk analysis, and data services to banks, microfinance institutions, SACCOs, fintech lenders, and businesses.

Metropol does not give loans. Instead, it collects credit data from lenders and generates credit reports, scores, and risk insights that help financial institutions decide whether to approve loans. It also allows individuals and businesses to check their credit status and improve their financial profile.
