About Wero
Wero is a European mobile payment system launched in 2024 by the European Payments Initiative (EPI). It aims to unify various national payment systems across Europe, such as Giropay in Germany and Paylib in France. Wero allows users to make realtime payments using mobile numbers or email addresses and plans to expand its services to ecommerce and instore payments by 2026.
